This sounds like https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798515, which is in turn probably https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/4610. The latter is fixed, so I updated the build server and made a new nightly build
https://code.gnucash.org/builds/win32/maint/gnucash-4.10-2022-05-21-git-4.10-97-gf18c70f68+.setup.exe that should fix the problem.
