Well, obviously it is NOT "hard coded" cause I've been using my dropbox box location on my Windows desktop for saved reports for years on both of my laptops, and it still works on 1 laptop, the issue I'm having is the other laptop where I had to reinstall Windows. And anyway, there's the whole section in the help manual re changing the default location. I'm just not getting it to work on the 1 laptop in question, assuming I'm doing it right (as I stated earlier, this is really above my "paygrade", I'm just trying to get my gnucash install the way it was before...)...
