That may have been me. I'm running 2.6.19, and I could swear that I tried a scheduled transaction over a year ago, and I got prompted multiple times.
When I posted about that again a few days ago, I tried again and found that I had misinterpreted what I was seeing on screen. In fact, GC was simply putting up the one and only prompt again because after entering the amount I clicked OK instead of using Tab to commit the amount. David T, After you enter the value of your variable, don't click OK but use Tab or Enter to commit the amount, and you should get only the one prompt. You may have to experiment a bit -- it may be that whether you use Tab or Enter depends on which version of GC you're using.
