And I can't see a way to be offered such a thing ... I go to portableapps.com. There I see a large green "button" saying "Download Now - Free". I click it and get a page headed "Download PortableApps.com Platform 23.1 - Free App Store & Menu" with another green "button" saying "Download from PortableApps.com". I click that and the resulting page autostarts a download. (I cancelled that because I already run PortableApps for a couple of things and it will update itself anyway next time I run it). Yes there are several ads on the page, but there's no compulsion to click on them. _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
