Your input is most welcome. You need to create a security before you can link it to an account. Please read the Tutorial and the Help on creating securities. The reason you can't complete adding the security isn't because you haven't installed Finance:Quote, it's because you've left Namespace blank (I think). I'm on an earlier version but in the one I have you can't leave Namespace blank.
