Hi Favio Yes, I've been using the Android app for about 6 weeks now, but only to record new credit and check transactions while I'm on the go. Once back home, I export transactions, as a CSV file, email it to my home account, and import these into GnuCash. (When exporting, I delete all the entered transactions.)
It works well. Took a little time to understand and easily use the GnuCash input transaction dialog.. Didn't have a reason for loading up ALL 6 years of transactions to accomplish this, the app's default, so when I loaded my GnuCash data into the app, I deleted all the transactions, including all scheduled transactions, and all the accounts except for my bank Credit, Savings, Checking AND the "Expense" accounts. >> Tom Date: Tue, 8 Jul 2025 13:33:28 +0200 From: Boniforti Flavio <[email protected]> To: GnuCash users group <[email protected]> Subject: [GNC] Android app - anyone use it? Message-ID: <CAESzd+ziWx9A=P=xickrummia_atqwz8yl5pwog+mvxfc+f...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Hi. I'll be on vacation soon and won't take my laptop with me. Thus, I installed the Android app on my phone and imported the file I have on my laptop. It looks good and seems to work fine. I'd be copying this file back to my laptop, once I'll be back home after vacation. Has anybody else sind experience to share regarding the Android app?
