This looks great to me!

I would love to see it incorporated into the program.

Thank you,

  Neil

Finally, a demonstration of using Filter text (tags, classes, etc) for
multidimensional finance reporting.

I've updated the attached prototype report to demonstrate reporting
accounts by customers, where customer columns are dynamically generated
based on a text filter.

The invoices supplying the data need tweaking to use Jobs to add Customer
and Property IDs to transactions. Alternatively, you could prefix customer
names with the customer ID in transaction text.

Property data could be reported in columns, or in rows if they were added
as subaccounts. Even if added as subaccounts, display detail could be
restricted by limiting the display depth option.

Why it works:
* Uses individual transactions and splits, not pre-calculated account
totals.
* All account types and accounts are used in their normal vertical
reporting order.

* Report has a Grand Total

Potential improvements:
* Tidy up displays and options

* Resolve opening balances issue for balance sheet reports
* Group account data rows by filter text patterns, as demonstrated in:
https://github.com/dawansv/gnucash-custom-reports#examples
* Report financial periods as columns (eg, years, quarters, months)
