An additional point for the GNU developers is that I will also
be making our source code visible at this dforge site ... as
soon as we get the super ko violation detection and avoidance
working.
I won't be bothering with any other code cleanup, so you will
get to see our warts as well as the cute dimples ;^)
Cheers,
David

Subject: paper on SlugGo
Hello all,
I have updated the Sensei's page on SlugGo
http://senseis.xmp.net/?SlugGo
to include a link to our dforge page
http://sluggo.dforge.cse.ucsc.edu/
where one can view a pdf version of the paper on SlugGo that I
presented at the 3rd International Conference on Baduk (ICOB).
The only significant update to the paper is that more games were
played against Many Faces, and with the increase in data we were
able to better resolve the appropriate handicap. Our data indicates
that the proper handicap is 2.3 stones. This means that over many
games with 2 played at 2 stones for each one at 3 stones, we expect
the result to be a 50-50 split.
Cheers,
David
