personally i would love to be able to use the ascii gnugo as my go-to
.sgf viewer. to do that, i would need it to be able to

1- parse an arbitrary multi-sgf file (an .sgf created, say, using cat
and a directory full of single-game .sgf files)
2- go to next game, go to previous game
3- fast forward and rewind through the moves at the rate of a few
moves a second by holding down a key
4- given a currently loaded multi-game sgf, output the currently
loaded game to a single-game sgf file

these features are currently only available in freeware windows programs.
