It would be nice if there were a switch for that in the API.

Just file a libgsf bug with a patch and I'll commit it.  We don't fail in
GsfOutputStdio just because the target exists, so there's no need to
fail in GsfOutfileStdio.  It just never was an issue for anyone before.
