"Wipe" is available from the Explorer plugin or the File Manager. Three
types of deletion algorithms are supported and can be set using the
Preferences dialog: Simple, DoD, and Gutmann. I verified that all three
removed files, and that there were no new files created as a result.
Beyond that; it would be very difficult to verify that these wipe
techniques are executed properly, buyer beware. The DoD wipe algorithm
is also quite slow; large files can take a l o o o n g time to remove.
