Thanks, that did the trick. So I've got two questions (for everyone). I tried a bunch of random commands as I was getting things setup. Did I run something that copied the key from ~/.ssh/id_rsa to ~/.gnupg/private-keys-v1.d/DEADBEEFC00FEE.key? Or did gpg-agent do that automatically? Does anyone else think it'd be better for pinentry to list the new location (~/.gnupg/private-keys-v1.d/DEADBEEFC00FEE.key) or something like "imported from ..." to indicate the real location of the gpg-agent version of the key?
