I have tried repeatedly with emails to the "-request" address wherein I
always get _two_ replies which request that I confirm the request to
unsubscribe. I reply to both of them with only the single line that has
been requested. This is usually a string "confirm xxxxx..xxxxx" where
the xxx is a big long hash of some sort.

I get a response to those emails which tells me :

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The results of your email command are provided below. Attached is your
original message.

- Results:
    Usage:

    confirm <confirmation-string>
Confirm an action. The confirmation-string is required and should be
supplied by a mailback confirmation notice.

- Unprocessed:
    confirm bcdb4c.....xxxxxxxxxxxxx........50102547

- Done.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Always unprocessed. It seems the mailman interface/software is a tad buggy?
