Yes I did notice it, but as far as I understand someone would need
to start the agent on the host with that argument passed, which is
fine but it doesn't work "by default".

The difference is the patch should make it work by default inside Flatpak, without needing to touch the gpg-agent options on host and maintains the
status-quo for host<->host case (nothing is changed there).
