Hi Fernando, I had planned something similar but could work only on the memory inspector part. Presently the memory inspector displays memory addresses in both decimal and hex. We may have to remove one column to accommodate the I/O ports listing. Do you have ideas about a better design?
I included both the decimal and hex displays I worked with hex values but the earlier code displayed the addresses only in decimal. Will it be better to have a checkbox to switch this. We may also remove the spinners and textboxes on the left once this is done. Please let me know your thoughts. --Debjit -- Memory/IO Ports Grid Inspector https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/579324 You received this bug notification because you are a member of GNUSim8085 developers, which is subscribed to gnusim8085. Status in gnusim8085: New Bug description: I've been using another 8085 simulator under Windows, and it includes a handy feature, it's a grid that shows memory address, io ports, and its values. I've included some screenshots. gnusim8085 includes a data inspector, but for using it you need to set variable names, and other couple of stuff. http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/541/sim8085hn1.jpg I'll give it a try to develop somthing like that, but I'm not really good with GTK programming. I've just found this other project, but it seems to be dead, there is no code, or releases, but the screenshot includes something similar to what I mean. It also shows something related to this feature request http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=820508&group_id=86462&atid=579702 https://sourceforge.net/projects/gsim85 https://sourceforge.net/dbimage.php?id=39894 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~gnusim8085-devel Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~gnusim8085-devel More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
