{{{I googled a bit but there wasn’t much help until i stumbled across a
long-winded thread which basically said “you don’t have a
~/.scribus/scribusfont.rc file”. So, to fix this problem?
find /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ -maxdepth 1 -type d >
~/.scribus/scribusfont.rc
Now that wasn’t too hard was it?
After talking to the people in #scribus on freenode, this was a known
issue, that is now fixed … but ubuntu hasn’t caught up with the latest
version of scribus. I thought ubuntu was supposed to be better than debian
with running upto-date packages. The scribus repositories don’t support
amd-64 but oh well.}}}
