#211: audio: pcm out gain is too low for some drivers

 Some drivers, especially those in jkaudio packages, need to be
 configured so that they use higher dB gain.  For example, with
 the following changes in /kernel/drv/audio1371.conf I was able
 to hear GNOME startup/shutdown sound:

 pcmvol=0;

 (Value such as 4 may be better, but I tried 0 for +12 dB gain.)

 The above, combined with increasing the audio output level via
 GNOME's audio panel (to around 90%) gave pretty reasonable
 sound output in VMware.
