No. We do not see any benefits of doing so... SUN C library is more
mature and stable. Also, we are going to maintain close to 100%
compatibility with others OpenSolaris distributions, so glibc not an
option and will never be.

free != GPL.  CDDL *is* a free Mozilla-style license.
