D.R. Hill,
Some followups:
1. You stated: "On my 1.6GHz Mac running OS/X 10.3
with the Mac version of the software it was several
times faster than real time. . ." My question is, does
this real time performance include actual "real time"
sound output, or just the raw synthesis? I'm asking
because on your home page you state that still needed
is "a socket interface provided to generalise the
communication method, along with direction of the
output to the standard GNU/Linux sound output." So,
have you already provided this capability to the Mac
OS/X version of GNUspeech? Or, as with the GNU/Linux
version, is that feature still awaiting completion?
2. Will binaries for the Mac be made avaiable soon? Or
will we need to build them from CVS sources? If so,
can we build them now, or should we wait?
Thanks,
E.R.
