Having only one source tree would be very nice, but the code has been split because of compilation problems in the GNUstep version. The GNUstep version uses GNUstep make and the OSX version uses Xcode. A merge is not planned, but it may be done in the future, since the GNUstep build is now working. But there are kinds of differences that would not be solved with a unified tree. GnuSpeechCLI and GnuTTSServer (OSX) are not the same program. Yesterday I looked at the OSX version, and it seems that its intonation is the same.
