Hi all, I was able to install gnustep gnuspeech on my Gnewsense (Ubuntu) Linux system without much trouble (considering I am new to both applications). Thanks to all who have made this possible. I was able to do text-to-speech synthesis right off, in both Monet and the shell script.
I've read through the main papers mentioned on the gnuspeech home page, so have a general understanding of the application. I'd like some pointers couple of things. 1. Has there been any interest or activity in making gnuspeech understand SSML (http://www.w3.org/TR/speech-synthesis11/)? 2. Are there any more detailed resources on how to develop postures and rules for a new language in gnuspeech?
