Indeed. I was not advocating for it's removal, just curious how it was used
since the pswrap program is all but useless for our purposes since the DGS/DPS
backend was abandoned.

While we're on the subject... does anyone think that a program that does
translation of PSW to calls to PS/DPS functions in gui would be worthwhile?
The name "gswrap" springs to mind. ;)

Previously I was thinking that there weren't that many programs which might
need this, but this discussion has awakened that dusty corner of my mind.

Not sure but anyway there's no hurry to remove the code - it does no harm. :-)

Thanks

I'm interested in how it would be used since pswrap makes some pretty cryptic
calls to DPS. Everytime I've ever had to translate a psw I've had to do so by
hand into our PS/DPS calls.

FYI: I was contacted by a (potential) user, so we'll keep .psw file support. :-)

Thanks

gnustep-make still supports .psw files, but I wonder if anyone is
using them. I'd like to remove
stuff that nobody is using.

Do you know of anyone using pswrap and .psw files ?

I don't even know how to test changes to the pswrap rules since I
can't find a usable
pswrap for GNU/Linux. :-/

I'll happily keep the code if there is even a single active user, or
some reasonable probability
that there is an active user somewhere ... otherwise we'll remove it
and simplify gnustep-make. :-)

Thanks
