I was surprised that you did not mention performSelectorOnMainThread: (http://developer.apple.com/DOCUMENTATION/Cocoa/Reference/Foundation/Classes/NSObject_Class/Reference/Reference.html#//apple_ref/occ/instm/NSObject/performSelectorOnMainThread:withObject:waitUntilDone:) but it sadly doesn't seem to be implemented on gnustep (I was sure it was !?). -- Nicolas Roard "I love deadlines.
