I've being a little busy the last few weeks, and will be on travel this weekend, so I won't be able to put the code in until late on Sunday. I'll need to get with David to run his concerns to the ground. I believe his suggestion is to use the NSCondition class, which hasn't been added to SVN yet so that will have to wait anyway.
If it's OK to put the code in the repository I'll do so on Sunday. Stefan
