I've just branched the second RC. This fixes a bug (found by Quentin) caused by clang and GCC generating different type encoding strings for BOOL* in method arguments.
It also adds proper packaging metadata now present in the GNUmakefile provided by Riccardo, and some tweaks to prevent warnings when compiling with GCC provided by TOM. Thanks to everyone who tested the first build, and especially to the people who found bugs with it. Please test this one. Unless any other issues are found, this one will become the 1.0 release.
