Yup!  It works.  I got core and base to compile from source on Ubuntu on a 
Nexus 4 -- that's an ARM CPU. 

(I used http://wiki.gnustep.org/index.php/GNUstep_under_Ubuntu_Linux)

I had one error while compiling, all I had to do was add a missing include 
statement in one file -- David Chisnall on this list told me which include to 
add. (This was last month, let me know if you can't find the message.)

That reminds me, I was supposed to submit a patch.  I will do that ASAP.
