OK, search on internet "CreateProcess error=87" and you will see we are not alone in this problem. If I understand correctly the problem (in our case) is that gnustep-make add a lot of parameters to make, exceeding the length allowed by Windows. Maybe on Windows 8 this is not a problem. Anyway, no idea how solve this. Maybe using a script?.
