Hi Filip, welcome to the GNUstep discussion mailing list. Great to have you here. What are your specific interests and how far into GNUstep did you manage to dig on your own? Feel free to ask any questions you have about the system on this mailing list, this is where the experts are. From your GSoC proposal I take it that you want to work on the CoreAnimation part of quartzcore and this definitely isn't the easiest bit to start to familiarize yourself with.
