before brewing your own, would you mind testing the supplied gnustep
stuff to run the application you need and see if it works? that would
check if the supplied stuff works on your setup.
I run on Win 7, both x68 and amd64 and it works fine and w2k8 r2 is
roughly equivalent.
I hope Adam soon gives us his base configure flags, if any.
