I *prefer* to create a branch and then create a PR for review so that my work can be assessed prior to inclusion into master. So I, personally, follow "gitflow" more than anything else. It is not a requirement, but it is MY preference. How you do it is up to you. I have been meaning to mention to the group the idea of adopting gitflow officially so that we can have a more controlled "master" branch in all of the repos, but we are simply not big enough at this point to make that practical.
So, in short, it's up to you. :) GC On Wed, Aug 21, 2019 at 5:07 PM Sergii Stoian <stoyan...@gmail.com> wrote: > Got it, thank you. > > If I understand correctly, even if I have push permissions to GNUstep > repos, the good practice is to create PR before push/merge into head. > Is it correct for all cases or some simple ones may be pushed without PR? > > On Wed, Aug 21, 2019 at 1:37 AM Gregory Casamento < > greg.casame...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> Sergii, What is your github account? >> >> On Tue, Aug 20, 2019 at 18:26 Gregory Casamento <greg.casame...@gmail.com> >> wrote: >> >>> If anyone else has signed copyright assignments please let me know your >>> GitHub ids.
