A new version of the Automated GnuWin32 download tool was released this morning. GetGnuWin32 0.6.3 supersedes all previous releases. If you have an already existing file cache from an older installation you can move that folder 'packages' to your 0.6.3 installation.
If you are using a version older than 0.6.3 please STOP NOW. As of November 2009 older versions can quietly malfunction when parsing sourceforge website project pages. The impact of this is the possible installation of outdated packages. GetGnuWin32 0.6.3 no longer attempts to parse individual sourceforge project pages, instead relying on a master list of GnuWin32 packages and hashes. GetGnuWin32 0.6.3 includes its own versions of OpenSSL 0.9.8l, Wget-1.12.1-devel, UnZip 6.0, and Sort 7.6 (from coreutils 7.6). Any verified update is applied automatically when running download.bat, and the program and its dependencies can be updated as well if there are security issues (ie OpenSSL).
