Hello, I submitted a pull request <https://github.com/jmnarloch/gocd-gradle-plugin/pull/5> to fix this issue a few months ago, and it was accepted. The author does not seem to have released a version with that change. Do you mind opening an issue on the forum and asking the author to release a new version?
Otherwise, if you can, building it from source should work too.
