The richly illustrated book showcases 50 temples of Goa, detailing their history, legends, architecture, deities, kulavis, festivals, and cultural traditions. Introductory chapters on the state's history, economy, religion and culture have been presented in an engaging style, supported by extensive research. The book has been researched, written and edited by Bharathi Shevgoor. First published in 2015, the volume was reprinted earlier this year by the Goa govt as part of 2025 Goa Statehood Day celebrations.
