Yes, CC licenses are indeed free. But many creators view things from an 'opportunity cost' perspective. Meaning, if they share their work, they see it as a loss of revenue or earnings for themselves. This is not how I see it. That was what I meant while writing: "It doesn't cost an arm and a leg...." FN
