Friends, Why can't Indian HEIs and research performing institutions form a cooperative association (similar to SURF in the Netherlands and different from AIU) wherein the members can combine their strengths and work together to acquire or develop the best possible digital services (including open science), and to encourage knowledge sharing through continuous innovation?
Needless to say that computer scientists and LIS professionals will play an important role (as workhorses and managers) in such a body.
