The Timeline of the Open Access Movement by Peter Suber was a timeline of “the 
worldwide effort to provide free online access to scientific and scholarly 
research literature, especially peer-reviewed journal articles and their 
preprints”. His timeline was then turned over to the Open Access Directory 
(OAD) for it to be easier to read, to edit and to enlarge.

The Timeline of Open Access Movement was formerly called the Timeline of the 
Free Online Scholarship Movement and it was created in the beginning of 2001, 
isn't it Peter?
