Dear Lucie, all,
sorry for the crossposting but as the email has been spread to several
mailing list I hope these information can be useful for all.
I suggest to take a look also to the DSpace-CRIS implementation.
DSpace-CRIS is an extension of the DSpace software, initially developed
by Cineca and the Hong Kong University to provide additional features to
DSpace to support a detailed description of all the entities in the
Research Domain.
DSpace-CRIS is available on GitHub and released under a BSD license
source code: https://github.com/Cineca/DSpace
project site: http://cineca.github.io/dspace-cris/

The DSpace-CRIS data model can be configured to be CERIF compliant as a
wrapped solution, it is not a CERIF native database.
The Hong Kong University is probably the most extended use case of
DSpace-CRIS, you can take a look here:

You can find some recent presentations around dspace-cris here:
http://hub.hku.hk/
http://www.slideshare.net/MicheleMennielli/dspacecrisan-open-source-solution-for-researchedu15
http://www.slideshare.net/AndreaBollini2/slides-tutorialcris

the presentations made around DSpace-CRIS at the last euroCRIS meeting
in Barcellona should be available very soon in the euroCRIS repository
(itself built with DSpace-CRIS): http://dspacecris.eurocris.org/

Feel free to reach me directly or on the mailing list for any further
questions.
Best regards,
Andrea
