Dear Arwin,

Please spend some time with the people who are at the cutting edge of the
agitations against SEZ aka mega housing projects, coastal mega projects,
hinterland mining with Portuguese colonial "concessions" still  bearing
colonial TC numbers ["Titulo de Concessao" or Concession Title] 46 years after
"Liberation" and FOR the right to dignified life, just wages, employment for
the resident population of Goa and ownership of land of their forefathers. Do
not waste time discussing things with MLAs who, as you have rightly said, "seem
reluctant to address any critical issue". We have to look beyond them ...at
Goa's future as can be achieved within the Constitution of India after the 73rd
and 74 Amendments were inserted at Article 243 and elsewhere.

There is a great degree of unity among the people of Goa [excluding the puppet
organisations of the Congress and the BJP masquerading as "people's movements"]
and that is what is rattling the families of the inheritors of Portuguese
colonial largess, the current Government of Goa ..... and now the Leader of the
Opposition as well. Accept the reality of unity and strive to strengthen it.
Every POSITIVE comment helps. Every negative comment detracts. Decide which
side YOU are on, and behave accordingly. You asked if the North Goa Zilla
Parishad would pass a resolution on mega projects coming to the DPC/ZP; it
passed the resolution already. Things are moving. We will overcome NOW ...not
one day!

Mog asundi.

Hope at last, with groups/individuals on overtime to Save Goa & its Unique
Identity. However, some with "perceived" objectives for the same, are
fighting/sabotaging others working for the same objectives. What am I missing?

I discussed with some MLA's, issues on Employment, Identity, Mega-Projects,
Uncontrolled Migrants Influx, Mining, Non-Goan Land Sales, Corruption etc; they
seem reluctant to address any critical issue. They are in politics only to
selfishly loot /destroy Goa. The Government will act for Goan Interests ONLY if
the people actually force them to do so; for which we need unity!!

Clearly our historical disunity, immature crab mentality & simultaneous
exploitation by politicians, has affected Goa & Goans.  It's high time we set
aside our personal differences/ interests & work in unity for Goa. My plea is
that IF EACH ONE OF US TRULY WANTS TO SAVE GOA FOR THE GOANS, then let us at
least work together on agreed, issue based, common objectives. Our Unity is the
Key to Saving Goa.
