Time and tide wait for no man so do the years or age. Completing glorious 62 a day before Amitab Bachaan’s Or 6 days before Hema Malini’s or the same day as Bosco’s. In real time, it's 55 days after India's Independence 62 and not out? You must be joking! Yet some may say ‘so what?’ ‘I am in my 70s and still not out..’ No, no, I didn’t mean that What I was trying to say is that I am mentally, financially and bodily still going strong. Some of you in that age group with pension etc may be financially fine. Here, there is no question of pension, plenty money in the bank and in properties. Infact, we have two in the UK, one belongs to my other half. In Goa, again, there are two, one belongs to 4. All I am trying to prove.. we are financially sound minded. And I have been like that since my childhood. This is something that most will never have. So lucky I am! So grateful to Him! When said ‘mentally’ I mean I am mentally not unsound. Occasionally, we do have some mental problems. After all, we Goans - Our mentality is unique. Perhaps, we eat too much of crabs :-) I have no enemies but I sad to see that some of you including the website or net-group owners look at me as if I am their worst competitor. I said before, I am not here for competition I am not here to make money I am not here to earn any tangible assets or goodwill. When I am unsound be it mentally, financially or bodily I will quietly disappear. No floral tributes. No newspaper ads Ok, let’s move on to ‘bodily’ aspect. I am bodily able man in all respect I mean, both external and internal machine parts are perfect and they are all performing well. Never been fine tuned. Now, you tell me how many of you have all 32 teeth intact? I am proud to inform you that I still have all 32 plus 1 bonus. I have one extra which oozed out at one of my wisdom teeth. I have seen many ‘Dantfolle’ (no offence) in their 50s or even in late 40s. Never used false teeth or wigs nor used any boosting pills, Drugs, ointment or sprays Infact, our youngest one is just 80 days old And this is one of the best kept secrets. Now, you tell me how many of you…? So, you know now, what I mean 62 and still going strong! I have one small confession to make.. Occasionally, during early mornings, I do find difficulty in reading newspapers. Filling in banks forms or recharging mobile phone from top-up cards etc. But that’s something which is very negligible as the same is very common in all others in their early 40’s . At least, I did not have that problem for last 20 years. Sometimes, I am worried.. really worried What I did not have all these years, I may now have them all at once. Before I conclude my B’s eve speech.. Here is something I have to say Life is short, too short. If today is his turn, tomorrow could be mine. Do what you always wanted to do, do it today Because tomorrow may never come Good Luck!
