the church in photo 1b is the the church of Our Lady of Rosary on the border of Bainguinim & Old Goa. it is just after the Santa Monica convent. end of the month is the best time to go, as the feast is celebrated every year on the 2nd of October...dates may change as the feast is kept on the following Sunday
