For the first time in Mumbai, Goan Review Art Foundation (GRAF) is celebrating World Goa Day event - WORLD GOAN HERITAGE DAY at the Sacred Heart School Hall, Santa Cruz (West) on August 17, 2002, at 7p.m. World Goa Day is being celebrated in recongnition of Konkani as one of the national languages of the country. August 20 will see the 10th anniversary of inclusion of Konkani in the eight schedule of the Constitution. This great day will be celebrated with a Variety Entertainment consisting of Mando-dulpods, folk dances, skits and sing-along. Not to miss mouth watering Goan Culinary delicacies. Besides, great Goan personalities, who have rendered yeoman service to the cause of Konkani and Goa will be felicitated at this function. Calling upon all the Goan and Konkani Institutions, associations and Goan village associations of Mumbai to participate in this World Goa Day and help us to make it a success.
