FULRANI telecast on Fridays The Panaji Kendra of Doordarshan has begun telecasting a programme on environment at about 7.15 p.m.ie. afte Marathi news. Christened as FULRANI, the programme has been conceived, and is anchored by, Amita Salatry. She has won awards for TV acting for the telefilm "Tyag". Each episode is designed for a 15 minute slot that will include an interview, a demonstration, some gardening tips and a surprise plant. Episodes have been shot with Rozendo Mendonsa (Mr. Farmer) Ashok Dande (Dande's), Sudanshu Saigal (Creative Inspiration) and Miguel Braganza (Farms and Gardens) to kick off the programme. Other agricultural and environmental personalities of Goa will also feature in the subsequent episodes.
