Foyles is delighted to announce the first exhibition of 2003 in Foyles Gallery. Goa Unseen - a photographic exhibition by James Taylor Private View 21st January The exhibition comprises 15 dramatic photographs, both in colour and black and white, taken on his most recent visit to Goa in December 2002. James has been photographing Goa for over five years and his work shows a great understanding and passion for both the place, and its people. James Taylor comments: 'My aim has been to produce a show that is both thought provoking and beautiful, to show a side of Goa that I have taken to my heart. It really is the people we meet that instill our memories.' Foyles launched its first art gallery over 70 years ago with the motto 'art for all' and has held many eclectic exhibitions from prayer stool needlework to modern fine bindings, silversmith work and contemporary jewellery.
