Sunderlal Bahuguna, the big name of the Chipko movement, visits Goa on Jan 31. The Chipko movement in North India grabbed the world's attention for its unusual way of protecting the trees in the area (women hugged -- hence 'chipko' -- the trees to ward off loggers).
