It is a fair question to ask: what can Goan expat women do to help women in Goa
achieve equality?
Here is one opportunity. BAILANCHO SAAD is an outstanding woman’s organization based
in Goa,
working on issues impacting women in Goa. They have compiled an impressive list (see
below) of
month-long activities leading up to International Women’s Day (March 8). This is an
excellent
opportunity for Goan expat women (and men) to offer support.
