As you are aware that NRI-Goa Facilitation Centre proposes to hold the
Annual NRI Goans Convention, at Panaji in the month of January, 2004. A
meeting of the stakeholders (including those associated with the GBS) will
he held on Saturday, the 6th September, 2004 at 15.00 hrs, and will
conclude by 17.30 hrs. The Chief Secretary, Shri D. S. Negi, will chair
the meeting.
The agenda for the meeting will be as follows:
1. Finalization of the dates of the Convention.
2. Venue of the Convention.
3. Details about business sessions.
4. Theme topics to be taken up for discussion.
5. Involving concerned Government departments.
6. Selection of sub-committee under the convenorship of relevant
Ministers.
7. Sponsorship of local industrial houses.
8. Any other issue with the prior permission of the Chair.
We shall be grateful if you could kindly make it convenient to
attend the meeting and give us the benefit of your mature guidance. A word
in confirmation will be highly appreciated.
