MALAYALEES WANT DIRECT TRAIN TO KERALA: Malayalees residing in Goa have been pursuing with the Indian Railway authorities the need to extend train services originating from Trivandrum to Goa. According to the Federation of all Goa Malayalee Associations, general secretary KRS Nair, the train services if extended to Goa would be of great benefit to Malayalees here. Over 50,000 Malayalees are estimated to be residing in Goa. (GT)
