------------------------------------------------ Naval personnel commits suicide ----------------------------------------------- A 43-year-old Naval personnel committed suicide on Monday evening at INS Hansa, Vasco. According to police, Hargovind Singh, native of Sagar Madhya Pradesh, attached to the defence security corps, who was on duty at the Hansa gate, allegedly shot himself to death.
Police said Singh pointed his SLR rifle 7.62 bore, towards his chin, as a result of which the bullet passed through the head. He died on the spot. The body was later shifted to the Hospicio at Margao for an autopsy.
