Dear Valmiki, Saturday 11 October,2003 morning saw the name of Rajan Narayan disappear from the footer of the oHERALDo. The grapevine has it that Rajan tried to offer his 'resignation' letter to God via the 'gifts at offertory'[It would have been nice if he had offered his 'retirement benefits',instead] at the Thanksgiving service on the 20th anniversary of the 'converted'[to English from bi-lingual, O Heraldo] oHERALDo. The service was held only after a huff and a puff that left everyone 'concerned',even those not wearing trousers, panting.
Forgive my 'Goa Plus' humour. Humour corrupts; Cecil's humour corrupts absolutely. And the Konkani Proverbs only make it easier[ a la sheti'che kens !]. I am looking out for the IGO hard copy. Everyday may not be a Sunday :tomorrow is! Stray thoughts, anybody? Viva Goa.
