Why Holiday Insurance?

Now that Charter flights are started, its time for most non-whites Brits (and other
NRI GOANS in UK ) to return home by taking cheap and direct Flt (non-stop) to GOA.

Most of us think 'holiday insurance' is not for us (Goans) but it is only for
tourists. Yet some of us know its importance or advantages but we travel without it
just to save another 30 or so (typical of us).

e.g. In response to my earlier posting 'cheap ticket to GOA', some one gave me his
budget saying he wants to travel to goa for less than 250 . In 2 days time I found a
good deal just 209 return ticket and immedieately passed on to him. In reply, he
said he would wait few more days hoping the price go down further...
(when one travels to GOA via Bombay, cheapest one can travel UK-BOM-GOA -BOM-UK(air
fare only) 450 plus over night stay in hotels, long and tiring journey, two days
wasted in Bombay etc)

We all pay for our cars insurance, we pay it because it is compulsory.
What about our lives or health (we ignore it just because it is not compulsory?)
What is 30 or 40 now a days??
Why take risks? or chances?
Think about your self, your family etc should any thing happen to you or family whilst
on holiday.

If you need help to find a cheap and right insurance for you, please ask.
I am not a travel agent nor working for one.
This is just a social service to our community.

..............

Some of us go on holidays (GOA etc) for more than once in a year, for them I would
suggest to buy 'annual multi-trip' insurance where one can travel as many times to any
where in the world during the 12 months period.

I have one such and I pay just 55 for a year (10% no claim discout).
One can stay up to 100 days per trip (most allow u up to 30-45 days per trip)

Couples and family insurance comes lot more cheaper (children below 16 usually go free
when they travel with their insured parents)

thank you for your time.
